Senior Austin Beck's dream came true at the District (6-5A) tournament held at Oakmont CC on Mon/Tues., April 6-7. He was named the District Medalist Champion for shooting 78-73 = 151. This accomplishment allows Austin to qualify for the Regional tournament in Lubbock on April 20-21. He has now qualified for Regionals all 4 years of his high school career. The Coppell Girls golf team took 3rd place in the District (6-5A) tournament at Bridlewood CC on April 8th & 9th, 2009.

On day 1, the team shot a strong 325.  They fell off a bit on day 2 with a 338.  The two-day total of 663 was 3 shots clear to secure the 3rd place bronze medals. Lauren Murphy shot the low score of all the extra medalists division with a 90-96 = 186.

JV TEAM PLACES 3RD AT DALLAS JESUIT INVITATIONAL (3/2/09)
Balanced scoring (81,81,82) by the CHS top 3 players (Austin Ansley, Kevin Dunham, & Troy Hanson) allowed the Jr. Varsity team to place 3rd out of 17 teams. Their total of 336 was only one stroke higher than the 2nd place team from Frisco Centennial. JJ Pearce ran away with the JV title by shooting a score of 313(78.25 ave.).
