Coppell teams finish 2nd/3rd in Flower Mound JV Invitational at Lake Park--Feb. 16, 2010

Led by Stephen Charlson (81-4th place) and Travis Underwood (83-Top ten medalist), the Freshman team (other participants were--Frank Gerome, Jonathan Bolton, & Tanner McCord) placed 2nd with a score of 342. The JV team was led by Payne Spudic (82-5th place) in placing 3rd overall (other participants were Ryan Horner, Grant Clift, Ryan Boger, & Jordan Stone). A total of 15 teams from area schools participated in this Flower Mound JV tournament. ...more

Coppell teams finish 4th/6th--22 teams in Creekview tournament at Castle Hills--Feb. 17, 2010

Albert Lo shot 78 to lead the Freshman team to a 6th place finish and Hunter Robinson fired 80 as he led the Varsity team to a 4th place standing. 22 total teams participated in this Creekview Invitational at Castle Hills. Hunter Robinson's 74 leads Coppell Varsity to 8th place/15 teams in Texarkana tournament

Hunter Robinson shot a very fine round of 74 to take 3rd place honors in the Texarkana tournament on Feb. 27, 2010. The event was shortened to one day as heavy rain spoiled the first round. The other participants for Coppell (all seniors) were: Brett Wheeler, Ben Coggins, Blake Van Patten, and Nick Stephens. Coppell finished 8th out of 15 teams. ...more

CHS JV defends their Fall 08 title by WINNING the Denton Ryan Invitational at Oakmont CC

Going into the Oakmont tournament, the CHS JV team set a goal to defend their Fall 08 title in the Denton Ryan Invitational. And achieving that goal is exactly what they did by shooting their low score (319) of the season. All 5 players finished in the top 10 medalists as follows: Troy Hanson (75-2nd place), Grant Brown (79-top 5) with Wesley Vohs, Alex Garcia, and Albert Lo shooting 82,83,83 respectively.
